Maybe my brain has rotted from ASOIAF, but the only future I could imagine for Azula is self-imposed exile from the Fire Nation, setting up somewhere else in the Earth Kingdon with Dai Li agents and Fire Nation Supremacists. It would be a mirror to Zuko’s exile (as well as Kyoshi, something something strong women), while also giving a reason for most of the evilest bastards in the fire nation to be removed and allow for Zuko to form his own council/cabinet.
