The show was at its best when it wasn't forced into solely lore-focused seasons after Adam Muto came aboard. Season 1 and 2 were pretty great and had many episodes where it was just character interactions and funny jokes.

I really like Summer Camp Island, especially the first season. It's an acquired taste, but I enjoyed a lot of it. I would have preferred if it stayed more like the first season through the whole show, but the more story-heavy parts were still pretty good.Oscar is my favorite character.

Shows like this tend to feel like a super "perfect" childhood where no kid is a bully or super dirty or schizo which was another thing, all the kids felt to normal and perfect like they were meant to each have a archtype but they were all drawn so normal and similar talking and acting I couldn't figure them out or remember them easily as they all felt like the "good or quiet" kids
