100% subjective. Their catalog is so schizophrenic that you could make the argument that several movies are their "best," but a "best" would also imply that they were building to a narrative and stylistic peak. If a studio like Pixar is a mountain trail with a few obvious peaks and valleys, DreamWorks is a mountain range with tons of branching paths suited to different travelers.

literally everything they got but if i had to choose 1 its shrek 2

The Prince of Egypt is probably their objectively best film, but >>153363823 makes a good point. The first two Shrek’s, The Last Wish, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar and El Dorado would be solid choices (Wallace and Gromit as well if we counted their Aardman films)

I miss Sandra Rabins and Penney Finkelman Cox. They left in 2002

Using aardman is cheating imo

Katzenberg was able to hire a few Disney members after founding DW, but the main staff of the company was taken from Amblimation (Fievel Goes West, We're Back!, Balto)

One of the reasons why Shrek turned out the way it did was director Andrew Adamson
