This scene might be worse than the sliding PNGs, baffled by how bad the animation and overall presentation is. The distance between Anissa and the guys cat calling her looks weird and the two guys move so awkwardly like they're conjoined and robotic. And then you've got Anissa who looks to be intentionally presented as unflattering and unattractive as possible. No cleavage, no curves. Compare it with the comic Yes she's got that mannish pissed off face but she's showing off her legs and her cleavage. It makes sense why she's got guys hitting on her. And that extra detail of her breaking the bench. In the show she just looks mildly annoyed while here you can tell she's putting every fiber of her being into not just slaughtering those guys on the spot. If they didn't want Anissa to have sex appeal here but still wanted some random humans cat call her they should've just had a guy tell her to smile as he walked past her. Not have dudes wolf whistle and wave at her all giddy like they just walked past a sexy office lady showing off her tits.
Would've looked 100x better and taken less effort if the just had it as a single frame of the two guys ogling her. The way the two guys are animated is really weird.
Also catch the frame of eve falling after thragg kills her in mark's imagination. And her body flops behind Mark. Her tits are enormous with distinct under boob lines. That's the only time they draw her like that.
>>153364819Eh it makes more sense in the showWhy is comic anissa dressed so provocatively if she doesnt want to draw the attention of men? At least in the show its like she picked out a generic womans dress just to blend in but still somehow getting horndogs after her much to her dismay
>>153364933Damn you're right.
>>153365064>Why is comic anissa dressed so provocatively if she doesnt want to draw the attention of men?She can still follow parts of the mission statement while still dreading and avoiding the actual part of the mission. I also kind of got the feeling she just picked a random look without really even thinking about it.>she picked out a generic womans dress just to blend in but still somehow getting horndogs after her much to her dismayI will admit I do like that angle of it but I don't think that's how they were presenting this brief scene. Pretty sure the show was still going for these dudes thinking Anissa is a hot business lady and they're hitting on her because she's conventionally hot and attractive.
>>153364819No you see anon, they'll allow scenes like that but actually depicting the person saying the slurs, showing the sex appeal, smoking the cigar, etc. is bad and will influence people in any way shape or form. Thus, Quentin Tarantino having the N-word in his movie means he is problematic. We must have these issues addressed but the actual pain or discomfort generated by the issue is ignored or hidden. Only the correct reaction is given spotlight so that the people we hate will totally understand and kneel down to our enlightened ideas. He might have put that in there gratuitously and to get off on being a guy who said the N-word on the big screen and to a black guy which is kinda weird and suspect but whatever. Maybe not the best example but he probably isn't too racist.
>>153364819>her breaking the bench.Wish that was my cock.
>>153364854>They don't wave aiming at whe she is right now.>They predict to where she'll be in a second and wave in that direction. This isn't casual catcalling anymore, these guys are going competitive.
>>153364819How did those earrings pierce her super skin?
>>153366304Could be magnetic or stick ons.
>>153366236And the make sure to step out of the way to give her some room as she walks past. Very respectful young men too.
>>153364854Really, having her girt her teeth would have made this so much better.
>>153364819Will they adapt the rapeface from the comics?I hope we see her big toothy retarded smile
>>153364819>Nooooo you have to sexualised her explicitly in order to justify douchebags cat calling!!
>>153366832>If you sexualize a character I will cry and shit myself no matter the context!!!! Cleavages are bad because......they just are OKAY??
>>153366966>SHE WAS ASKING FOR IT!!!
>>153367024This doesn't work as an answer to what I said, doesn't even make sense.Anyway, your white knight rhetoric comes from someone that is ugly and never had sex.
>>153364854Why did the show make her look old?
>>153364819That whole episode look like shit. That blurry effect they used on le ptsd scenes, was awful, and constantly hurt my eyes
>>153366832Yes. But really it doesn't have to be explicitly. Cleavage is really about all you need, but from how they showed Anissa in this scene the guy's reaction to her would make more sense if they told her to smile or something to that effect
>>153367739How brain damage does one have to be when you spend this much time trying to create logic to what is and isn’t appropriate attire for generating cat calling and at what level would it “make sense” to just make men tell a woman to smile
>>153364819I read the comics but my only exposure to the show is through here and it seems bland, it actually seems almost impossibly uninteresting given how distinct the sourcd material is, it’s a masterclass in how to take something cool and make it as boring as possible aesthetically.
>>153364854>>153366469they should have made her pretend to be annoyed but then smile once she was past them
>>153368890>How brain damage does one have to be when you spend this much time trying to create logicIts very simple, if a couple of guys are wolf whistling and hollering at a woman what in your mind do you expect that woman's appearance and demeanor to be? Is it a woman who looks miserable wearing sexless clothing? To me it has to be one or the other but not both.>at what level would it “make sense” to just make men tell a woman to smileAgain its pretty simple, just have her not smiling. Getting accosted and given unsolicited advice is not uncommon for women no matter what they're wearing which is why I think it would've been a better choice in comparison to the reaction we see the two guys give here.
>>153369047>using clickbait articles as evidence of a genuine thought
>>153367471Are you the guy who complained about face lines the entire previous thread?.
>>153364819I do agree the animation is kinda meh, but am i the only one who preferes her reaction in the show instead of the comic one?She shrugged at it like a minor annoyance instead of getting angry, which considering the character and the culture she is from….it makes infinitely more sense. She is part of a race of violent unga bunga warriors that are used to force each others on their mating partner on sights…and she is surrounded by just weak annoying dude making some whimpy noises at her and nothing else..like her actual reaction is>Damn these pathetic humans>so weak and frail, all they can do is bark like animals>a true viltrumite man would’ve jumped and DIED to even get the chance to mate with me…and now i have to settle for this pathetic weakling instead?>sigh…that boy of nolan can’t be back on Earth faster!? I ‘d rather mate with a strong young male like him, so strong he took down Conquest and destroyed our planet…instead of gifting my body to this normiesLike it turns the average catcalling into a whole joke
>>153364854This is bad. Holy shit.
Why are they waving? Nobody does that. That's not what catcalling looks like! Couldn't they just have them looking at her as she passes by?
>>153369696That's valid I think but I still prefer her reaction in the comics. The show never had her give those psycho facial expressions like the comic constantly did so I don't mind her not having that pissed of face but I do think they missed put by not showing her repress her anger by breaking the park bench. I think it was important to show how much Anissa utterly loathes her mission considering she's the only Viltrumite who doesn't even attempt to give it a chance.
>>153369199>A guy can’t understand that catcalling has never required the woman to be dressed as sexy
>>153370548>A guy can't read and doesn't realize I said exactly that
>>153364819Who thinks about this, this hard?
I though the Pic was plastic man
Better question is does cat calling even exist anymore?
>>153370717Me
>>153370764Doesn't really exist in my country unless its a Friday night outside a bar or club.
>>153370764No, it's been replaced with actual groping and indian men chasing women going 'sex please I fuck you very much'.
>>153370794>>153370809What do you even ask anissa? >EY YO VILTRUMITE BABE. WANNA BE BREED?
>>153370867That might work. Maybe not on Anissa but some of the others women might go for it.
>>153364819I think they wanted to play it more seriously, so they toned it down from furious to disgusted. Thragg's speech to Mark is supposed to feel threatening and the audience laughing at Anissa's reaction here might undercut that.
>>153370867Just attempt to rape her. Its their culture, she'll understand.
I'm not watching the show anymore but the Mark rape already happened by this point in the comic, right? They skipped it.
>>153371535No it didn't lol
>>153364819I would like to say that for the record I have never seen this show and I have never watched this cartoon. I took one look and said, "This looks kinda bad." Then the rape scene kept getting posted at which point i said it was objectively bad. Now, normie reddit retards are scrambling to make sense of this fucktarded, libshit power fantasy show that is so bad even they can ACKnowledge it.Damn it feels good to be right on everything.
