Has anyone else grown up with all the comic movies/cartoons/videogames etc. But never actually gotten into the comics until they were a lot older? I feel like I completely missed out. It I'm having a mid life crisis or something.

Yeah I didn't grow up in USA so Superhero comics weren't really readily available, but was aware of the basic ones from 90s animated series, DCAU, Xmen and Spider-Man etc.

We went to the US for vacation once andba store still had a comics rack and I was allowed to get 2. I got Sonic #97 because I thought the cover looked so cool, and then I took some kind of Superman comic. Think it had the title "return to krypton" on it.

Loved the Sonic one (I was the right demographic for it) but the Superman one I wasn't a fan of.
