Why doesn't DC care about Young Justice anymore? Tim Drake is a background character in his own city. Kon-El gets dusted off every few years, handed a 6 issue mini, then shelved again like DC is embarrassed by him. Bart is the most relevant he's ever been right now which is great, but it just makes the silence around the other two more obvious.These three were the heart of the 90s. Not just Young Justice, not just Teen Titans the whole era. Tim wasn't just Robin. Kon wasn't just a Superman clone. Bart wasn't just a sidekick. The banter, the dynamic, the way they worked as a unit you don't just write that back in after years of doing nothing with them. You have to actually commit to these characters.Bendis the emaciated-dementia ridden Jew got his hands on them, cratered the book, and that was apparently it. Instead of giving Tim, Kon and Bart the focused reunion fans had been waiting years for, he diluted the team with new characters who hadn't earned their spot and then didn't give them enough page time to earn it either. Is there genuinely not one creative team at DC willing to do something with them?

Didio turbofucked the entire generation in his attempts at pushing them and making them totally cool and relatable to today's young folk.Tim had everything unique stripped away from him to make him Batman Jr and then became superfluous when Damian came on the scene and was here to stay (Robin with Damian or become Nightwing 2.0).Bart had his entire personality fucked and everything charming about him and his solo was ignored.Cassie had her personality completely rewritten to be miserable angry bitch because a happy Wonder Girl is a boring Wonder Girl.Kon also had his personality completely rewritten to be miserable angry guy paranoid about going evil and bald due to being Lex's baby trap.He seemed to realize this with Rebirth and tried Damian out for his new generation to try to push which was a bust, so he let his big new writer Bendis take a crack at YJ gen but it was a flop by #5 so he shrugged his shoulders, declared them to be a dead end, and went ahead with trying to push for 5G instead.

>>153379354Quite frankly they just should've done a Young Justice show synergy.Keep the core four, but bring in Miss Martian, Blue Beetle, Blaqualad, and either Mia or Rose as a Artemis stand in (or both). M'gann, Jaime, Mia, Rose were already on a team with the core four already so it wouldn't even be outlandish synergy.That would've sold a little better than Jinny Hex, Amethyst, Naomi, and Teen Lantern.
