Did Azula legitimately want Zuko to be part of the family again?
No, but she did want a kid
No. Its explicitly clear in the scene she's setting him up as a scapegoat and will likely be executed. Because Azula, believe it or not, is EVIL.
>>153378074Why not have Zuko imprisoned along with Iroh in Ba Sing Se?
>>153378023Yes. Azula had no reason to suspect that Aang might be alive. She only started suspecting after Zuko acted weird when he found out she gave him credit. After using Zuko to take over Ba Sing Se, she could have double-crossed Zuko the same way she double-crossed Long Feng, but she didn't. Instead, she gave the credit of killing the Avatar, undoubtedly one of the biggest accomplishments one could achieve in the world, to Zuko, so that there would be no doubt that their father would accept him back.Azula had nothing to gain from Zuko being unexiled. In fact, she went from being the de facto heir to second in line, but she did it regardless because she wanted Zuko back.
>>153378800Nah, she got suspicious before she gave credit. That's part of it, she set him up to get fucked if it turned out Aang was still alive.
>>153378074that was a contingency just in case he knew some shit. If he himself wasn't hiding stuff it would have just been a victory for him. In general though she repeatedly shows some kind of attachment to him even if it's twisted
>>153378023Yes. And also, she can use him as a scapegoat. If she didn't like him, she wouldn't have hung out with him at the island or asked him what he was really mad at.
>>153378023evil because reasons
>>153378023Azula has agp just like me
>>153378023In a way. She wanted Zuko under her control.
>>153378023and so much more
>>153378867Was there ever any material that showed more of Ozai's reaction to finding out that Azula lied to him about Zuko killing Aang?
>>153378023"Azula always lies"
I think we did love Zuko in her own way.
>>153378128Because, at that point, Zuko was still actively fighting for the Fire Nation and was a useful asset in the war. Iroh wasn't.
