I don't really get how he can't hurt sinners. It makes zero sense and obviously people complain that he was nerfed but then there's so many defending that decision.
Because Vivs knows her female audience needed to see him battered, beaten, and in chains. Any excuse, no matter how silly, would have to suffice for this goal.
