Official Uglydolls YouTube channel is posting shorts made with AI, months after being licensed to the company Company Sombrerohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqxTTM6Duvg
>>153386781Why are companies so desperate to make ai animation a thing? It never looks good
>>153386781>looks like dogshit>no scenes that last any longer than 10 seconds>scenes constantly jumpcut and fade outJust what I expected
>>153386781AI cartoons have characters move around like lifeless zombies filled with helium. It's so unsettling, and they're making this shit for little kids. >But... it will get better in 2 years trust me!I don't care, I'm talking about right now at this very moment in time.
>>153387330>>But... it will get better in 2 years trust me!remember, they said this 2 years ago
>>153386781Noooo why are they ruining the beloved and critically acclaimed cartoon series...uglydolls
>>153386781they threw a guy into a washing machine.
>>153387330>and they're making this shit for little kids. You know it's 2026 when the kneejerk reaction to this shit is ThInK oF mUh ChiLrUnZ!!While browsing a board filled with literal pedos jerking it to underage calarts blobs. To extent half the board is nothing but that shit.Christ.
>>153387377Longer sequences will require video cards with 128Gb VRAM that are too expensive to manufacture
>>153388111Still angry about having the Max & Ruby video taken down I see
>>153386895It's cheap and companies will do anything to save money.
>>153386895What are they supposed to do? AI is the only line going up on the charts in this economy.

At first I thought this was animated by humans until I saw this sequence here where the pink doll has detached floating hair. Honestly forgot all about Ugly Dolls after it's shitty movie flopped.
>>153388111You're retarded and looking for an argument because you don't have a life.
uglydolls fucked his wife
>>153386781They could've at least outsourced to some third world country, TF is this?
>>153390562I think their YT channel has been hacked. I can't really confirm it, but I did a little digging on their other social media pages outside of YouTube and they haven't announced these new batch of AI-animated on either one of them, just YouTube as far I know.
>have franchise called Ugly Dolls>the movie redesigns then to look more “appealing”There had to be a point where they genuinely wanted to adapt the toys properly before an exec stepped in and demanded it to be more marketable, right?
I still can't believe they made an Uglydolls movie in 2019.
>>153388194he was seen everything
>>153386895>>153388164Reminder that a shoe company rebranded to an AI company and said they would "seek out AI" because they knew doing so would cause their stock appraisal to spike.Investor culture is so braindead these days that just saying AI is enough to get them salivating like dogs because they never look past their spreadsheets long enough to see why number are going up.
>>153386895Investors
>>153390806It's unlikely they were hacked. The credits in the description have real names, one of which being Anne Simonds, who seems to be the founder of a company called Muse System Enterprises which is all about bringing "projects" to life with gen-AI.Anne is the wife of Robert Simonds, also credited, who founded STX. So it seems this is orchestrated by them. Unrelated to Uglydoll, the toy brand. So the STX people are behind it, if it is all authorized and a hacker wasn't somehow in the know enough to throw those names in there.
