Has an amicable breakup with mark and they remain friends, later has a domestic abuse storyline with her new boyfriend who mark beats up. Yikes that’s not very progressive.Since she’s black she can’t be stupid so actually write her to be a big brain, we can show she’s heckin smart by having her reference book titles every two minutes Instead of being vulnerable, her first scene is her kicking a jock bully in the balls. Fuck. She is SO POWERFUL. yes queen!She’s also angry at mark because we need to create conflict, so let’s just have all the other characters say Amber is right to be mad at mark rather than explain why.
