I decided to watch it.Animation was pretty. The initial fight scenes before the villain gets the staff are pretty good, then the pacing starts moving really fast and it starts falling into the same traps Korra had in its fights, and at some point escalating into DBZ level fighting.The plot of Aang having a chance to bring back airbenders could have had more impact if Korra did not already exist and we already know he isn't succeeding and that the new guy must be betraying him at some point since he doesn't exist in Korra.As it is, it felt like a prequel to Book 3/4 of Korra.Voice acting felt off by most of the replacements, especially Aang and Sokka.Storywise Zuko, Toph, and Sokka just kind of felt like they were there. Especially Zuko and Toph had nothing really meaningful to say or do the whole time.

At this point you've either watched it or you haven't, and when half your audience is not watching out of some mistaken set of principles the discussion isn't gonna go anywhere
The movie was basic, and saying "it has good animation" is only good for like... one thread, which we had. , it doesn't directly solve any of the mysteries that were around since Korra, and even adds more of them (sokka is varrick's father because "lmao inventors") If anything it just makes what Korra did as avatar even more awful.
