THE SMILING FRIENDS ARE BACK
>>
this is a cope phrase.
Like going to a store, looking around, then saying you’ll come back later.
>>
>"conditions are right"

Seems to me that this statement confirms the rumors that the "burnout" was just an excuse and the real reason for the conclusion was the WB buyout situation.
>>
He already said that in the announcement video. This isn't news.
>>
>>153393727
where did he say that?
>>
Honestly, it did feel like the show had been on for too long already. Like in S1 you had these really funny and creative episodes like going to a fantasy world and meeting the old animated Bilbo Baggins. The new stuff isn't necessarily bad but it feels lacking in firepower. If they want to move on and make something else that they find more interesting then I salute them.

Damn, he's really committed to this "ending the show" bit.

What do people gain from recycling old news?
>>
>>153393777
This wasn't obvious?
They time the announcement less than 12 hours before Netflix is officially announced out of running and Paramount is buying them. It was very obvious WB being bought out was what was getting them to cancel the show

I hope the hack crashes and burns. A death to mediocrity is a bright future.

We want more dolly dimpley

go back to /lgbt/, roastie

>>153393777
I believe this.
>>
>>153396001
Good. I can wait a few years. It'll be out when it's out.
>>
>>153393777
It could be both. They're creatively in a rut and the buyout makes things much more muddled because theres lots of leadership changes going on.
>>
>>153396001
Except Smiling Friends is shit and Venture Brothers isn't
>>
>>153393727
So it's on indefinite hiatus?
>>
i dont want it to come back desu

Correct, the first thing Paramount will do is cut cost, and ir turns out payroll is the biggest cost

>bust your ass for years
>even do slave work on zombie spongebob
>just for the CHANCE to get your own show
>get your chance
>crash out after making a couple hours of content over the span of half a decade
