>it's a Lisa existential crisis episode>it's a Krusty's Jewish background episode>it's a Marge and Homer's marriage problems episode
>>153402128You forgot one>It's a "the future" episode where Bart is an alcoholic/loser/manchild and Lisa is successful
>>153402128>it's a Krusty's Jewish background episodeFuck off, these ones are good.
>>153402128>it's a Krusty's Jewish background episodeAll two of them?
>>153402128>>it's a Lisa existential crisis episodeAlways good >>it's a Krusty's Jewish background episodeIt was OK to have 1 just to show his back story the rest were obvious wanking.>>it's a Marge and Homer's marriage problems episodeHalf and half
Lisa is only good for her sex appeal now
>>153402148The only one that was good was the first one.
I never really understood Krusty as a character at all. I guess the joke is that he's never funny? I mean there's a lot of dedication to this bit, but for me nothing involving him ever really lands. I legitimately find every other character amusing one way or another, but every single second Krusty is on the screen seems like a waste of time.
>>153402297No she doesn’t
>>153402335It's common knowledge but Krusty was supposed to be Homer in disguise originally, and they never really figured out what to do with him other than "wacky depressed clown"
>>153402353Anon likes lisa!
>>153402297proof?
>>153402419Lisamania
>>153402128>>it's a Lisa existential crisis episode>>it's a Marge and Homer's marriage problems episodeThese are good in the good seasons.>>it's a Krusty's Jewish background episodeThese are fucking shit and like they forgot that they're supposed to be making a comedy instead of pandering. If anything they actively make a funny character less funny.
>>153402128I've been going through the classic The Simpsons seasons and I've been skipping every third episode. I can't stand Lisa, Krusty or Marge/Homer marriage problems episodes.
>>153402714>These are good in the good seasons.Yes, they are. Which makes it more annoying when I skip them.
>>153402128Realistically, Lisa will move away to go to college at an Ivy League, discover that she's bisexual, briefly date her roommate, and then marry a rich, smart, and handsome frat boy Chad.
>>153402128>It's a Marge's tits are growing episode
Simpsons religion-themed episodes are always preachy, which feels off-putting for the type of humor they go for, losing edge and laugh value at the expense of having 'immoral' characters seeing the light
>It's a Lisa existential crisis episodeI like these>it's a Krusty's Jewish background episodeI like these>it's a Marge and Homer's marriage problems episodgo away heat brother
>>153402714>These are fucking shit and like they forgot that they're supposed to be making a comedy instead of pandering. It's low effort award b8.
>>153402335he’s a reference to a kind of entertainer that used to be more common in real life
>>153405546this dude was a TV clown who had a local kids show in Portland that Matt Groening watched as a kid. per one of the DVD commentaries. "Rusty Nails was actually this really sweet clown who had a kind of Christian message, but as a kid I thought he had the scariest name ever."
>>153402335The joke is the contrast between his wacky whimsical demenor when performing for children and his actual cynical and lewd personality.
>>153402128>It's a Patty and Selma do nothing episode
>>153402128>it's a Lenny's eyes episode
