She's the type of person who got into gaming when it started getting cool and comics when the MCU started getting big.

I think what peeves him off the most is she doesn't seem to fully grasp the problems she caused for them personally, and even if Gwen feels bad for her friends she's still mostly thinking of herself, how they relate to HER. I like that she is still being held accountable here for her actions leading to MODOK being dissolved and her friends jobless.>>153406989Gwen living her best life as what she was from the start: a murderhobo. I'm probably reading too much into it but I like the 'Level One' as a metaphor for Gwen falling back on old habits. She'd been making some progress in recognizing her actions have consequences here, especially when it resulted in her friends leaving her. But now in this situation, her friends are all back at her side on another adventure (albeit against their will) and she's once again finding herself in an adventure where everything is genuinely fake and she can do/act however she wants, much like how she acted when she first arrived. Feels like they make a point of calling out Gwen is still acting too impulsively and they're getting tired of it, but in this scenario I think it makes a lot of sense with a fresh 'New Game' Gwen would revert back to treating it all as such.
>>153407099Thanks for the storytime OP. Enjoyed Gwen getting to hang with her MODOK pals again, I like the scenario of a dungeon crawl Murderworld and am feeling Gwen's enthusiasm for it. Really get a sense of how she'd act playing an RPG (more focused on G than RP) from this and I like seeing her in her element being genre-savvy with the usual trappings of a stereotypical dungeon, and I find it especially funny how she needles Arcade as their 'GM' with ruining scenes / spoiling plot twists to get under his skin, feels effective. I think it also does good for dealing with the aftermath of issue 10 and setting up the drama between Tony & Gwen, showing that while Gwen does want her friends back this situation shows she hasn't changed enough to rebuild that bond if she's still going to charge ahead without any consideration for them. Ends on a hell of an ENTER for Deadpool too for next time, a fairly long wait for this meeting.
