You can really tell the humor got fucked up somewhere along the way in this and we barely have any footage. Sometimes it looks more like the writers were invoking Adventure Time, other times Gumball. Regular Show wasn't entirely unique as a 2010's toon but it had its own vibe in how it handled its characters and the humor (and that's not even saying I always found all of the jokes funny.) Some of this shit looks preschool tier and it's not helped at all by the bouncy lifeless rigged pbs kids animation.
Remember how people argued the RS toys were shit because the characters just couldn't ever possibly work in 3D? Well what do you know, some people can make it look fine even with their own product style. Maybe CN/Jazwares was just shit?

Pretty sure there was a time Mordo and Rigs either held hands or carved their initials together into a tree for broship or something. At least this randomly assorted episode flashback idea means they can't force a main female worker into the park suddenly, since we know it'd never stick outside of the one episode. Just realized on my season 3 dvd one of the episode thumbnails is taken from what could only be an unofficial TV premiere rip. The actual episode doesn't have it.Man, even back when they were trying with Regular Show, they weren't actually trying. But I'd still pay hundreds of dollars for a complete series release with at least this level of care. I think the australian sets kept up the graphic design style all the way to the end. We just got unchanged program template shit (which plagues all CN releases now it seems, even smiling friends season 1)
