El Chavo was a mean comedy about poor people beating the shit out of each other, seriously the protagonist is a penniless orphan getting hit by the adults and scammed by the kids, he lashes out with violence which usually ends up hurting everyone but the object of his hate, his deuteragonist is a deadbeat dad who punches kids, never works of pay rents and is constantly abused by his snobbish neighbor who is no richer that he is or gets staked by the old lady from next door. Is like if someone read Oliver Twist or Les Misérables and decided it would be the perfect comedy for all ages, and the worst part he was right!
