I knew the series would be shit the instant I heard heaven was going to be heavily featured.It should have stayed out of anything beyond an end goal for Charlie to get the sinners to that is as every bit perfect and impossible to describe as you can make it, let viewers fill in the gaps. I think if you played the show straight on the goal of redemption and didn't rely on external beyond hell conflicts it could have hit a nice spot of 'raunchy but with a bit of heart and meaning' imo, rather than what we got
