Entire story arcs start and end in like 2 pages. This multiverse war should have been cool as shit and spanned multiple chapters to flesh out some of the Marks and at least get a cool fight or two in if not some character moments. But no it's done before you know it. Nothing ever seems to last long enough to really matter in the long run. Shit happens but the plot moves so fast that two chapters later it's a distant memory. My other biggest gripe is how every one of Mark's rogue's gallery as it were seems to be a bunch of randos with some autistic fixation on him and it never feels earned. Like if some dude you had a bad experience with while you were at work made it his sole purpose in life to destroy you and your family for an interaction you've forgotten about. I don't remember if this series is supposed to be a "deconstruction" of the genre like The Boys or anything but if it's not written this way on purpose, it makes me wonder how bad the walking dead is if kirkman doesn't have a co-author or tard wrangling editor.

Invincible only has 144 issues but it really can feel like a character with decades worth of stories because of how breakneck the pace is and how the comic separates clearly into eras that mimic the endless Big 2 franchises.
