What will stop them from becoming the next Cartoon Hangover/Mondo Media/Rooster Teeth?

The TADC money will keep them afloat for five more years

>Cartoon Hangover/Mondo Media/Rooster Teeth
They're bigger than all three of those companies as far as indie goes. So they succeeded in that.
>>153425628
Not really, they already got screwed by monetization twice. They have the upper hand because they're funded by the Australian government and merch sales.
>>
>>153423286
Biggest problem with GLITCH shows is how formulaic they all are.
>quirky tomboyish female protagonist whos name ends with "e" sound
>in a fantasy sci fi world
>safe edgy tone
>tons of shitty lore
yawn

All signs point to them becoming exactly that by the end of the decade. They should've forced Goose into extending The Amazing Digital Circus to at least 18 total episodes.
>>
>>153423286
10 years down the road a lot of people are gonna be talking about "the Glitch template".

- Protag's main two attributes are "relatable" and "awkward".
- The premise is some meta shit and the whole show is self-referential.
- Cast is large and engineered for fandom.
- Many times through out the show, archetypal cast members break character and say "I don't wanna be an archetype!" and they sit and talk about it.
- Very online sense of humour.

Heck, people are already pointing this all out now.
>>
>>153425772
>they're funded by the Australian government
they haven't been since Meta Runner finished
>>
>>153423406
He keeps getting cancelled and the fandom probably isn't going to stick around after the show is done.

>They should've forced [Cooper Smith Goodwin] into the most intensive conversion therapy available in the English-speaking world before ever signing a contract with them
Fixed.

>>153428106
Oh good, so they had no excuse for hiring an autogynephile and did it for no reason.
>buuhhh his (*ZAP!* I MEAN HER!!1!) animations were---
Annoying quirkslop of the kind that both troon and troon capitulator alike seem to think is the height of creativity, betraying their utter lack of it? Correct.
>>
>>153423286
Honestly I'm tired of people jerking them off like they're the saviors of indie animation when they envision themselves as no different than disney or warner bros if they could get away with it.
>>
>>153423286
Lack of a cashcow series they can kerp milking for eternity
What series does glitch have thats on the same level of milkableness as like red vs blue?
>>
>>153428343
Fine, they absolutely aren't going to stick around for any future Goose or Glitch projects because they only cared about TADC, and since that's coming to a definitive end, the entire studio is just going to slowly die off
>>
They need a flagship that pulls in money so they can shit out side projects. Pretty sure rvb and rwby on RY paved the way for camp camp, nomad of nowhere and all their other unfinished projects.
As it is, glitch just has a bunch of single season series that wrap up in nice little bows and leave little room to move beyond
>>
>>153428596
The one that's ending in June and, knowing how it's likely to end (see >>153423459), the fanbase along with it, barring some generational face-saving that would make a Chinese Government official scoff.
>>153428626
Posted right as I was typing this, thank you.
>>
>>153423286
Be honest, do you think Glitch as a whole is gay and want them to fail because of what they represent?
>>
>>153428659
See >>153428651

Tadc is ending, it'll make them a bit of money but they cant just beat it like a dead horse money printer.

And hopefully, they'll realize that the ongoing humiliation ritual that is working with autogynephiles (or autoandrophiles, or anyone else muh-represented by the rainbow ghoul horde) isn't worth the ultimately meager gains of an audience that's equal parts fake, gay and retarded. Then again, they hired him willingly...

Did Michael have it this bad back when his only interaction with Glitch was voicing Serial Designation N?
>>
>>153430278
No, but a clip of him and his polycult dommy-mommy laughing at a safe-edgy "nigger" joke wasn't public knowledge at that point.
>>
>>153430302
Yes it was, it only resurfaced because of shitlords trying to sabatage the movie

>because of shitlords trying to sabatage [sic] the movie
Doubt it, since it'd been announced for weeks and most of the lemmings already bought their tickets.
