honestly a one-shot where reed richards is a schizophrenic and imagines dr doom would probably be pretty sweet, especially if the ff DO actually get powers similar to their traditional ones and just end up causing both themselves and everyone around them to become imperiled. If every single one had something deleterious, like reed's schizophrenia or ben's body, it could be neat. Human torch burns himself badly every time he uses his powers, susan could be unable to properly control hers perhaps. Wouldn't work as a long-running timeline but a one-shot could do well.
