The main issue with team books is that Batman is massively elevated to infallible levels while most other people are depowered by quite a bit so that Batman and Superman outshine them. The big crime is how everyone else who has an education or training loses all of that when Batman is around. Ted Cord, Barry, and Ray always stop being scientists/criminal investigators so that Batman can notice some clue or lecture them on how particle physics works. Guys like Captain Atom, Hal, or John also forget that they are expertly trained soldiers, pilots or know how to fight someone as well. Everyone becomes a normal average joe with superpowers Spider-Man villain type.Also the fact that any GL has a full database of all planets, alien species, and notable space criminals on their finger never comes up in a JLA story either. They make forcefields and ferry the non-flying guys to and from a fight.
