She outright would have abstracted if Pomni weren't there - now her story arc is about her friendship with Zooble. She can't drive the plot because she's not really part of it.Ragatha is a door mat - she's too permissive, rationalizes everything bad that happens, and any time she has a complaint it's ultimately impotent. There's implication that she probably would have abstracted a long time ago were it not for Kinger effectively becoming her father figure. She can't drive the plot because she's "along for the ride" and accepts the status quo.Kinger is another aware character, but his awareness is literally conditional on special circumstances. When he's sane, the story moves and other charactes around him grow. Otherwise he's like the rest.Jax likewise also has the awareness to drive the story forward, but for reasons we'll likely see in Ep 9's flashbacks, he has developed a nihilistic, self-destructive attitude that will conflict with the remainder of the cast's own resolution.
