It also helps that their dynamic just feels more interesting and also even when Yuri was directly combative with Spider-Man in the DLC she was less of a misery inducing bitch then MJ. Hell even Silver Sable had more chemistry and a dynamic with him and she was actively antagonist with him most of the time.
