Just cancel this shit and American Dad, since both shows are very visibly out of gas, and make them free forever on Youtube. People only use these to fall asleep or to eat something.

Do what Airplane did: steal the plot of a generic, forgotten film from the 50s-60s but stuff it with Family Guy characters and gags.

people are so burnt out on family guy culturally that I really don't see a path forward for a non tv special. it'd get a token limited release for superfans and then go straight to streaming or fox.

The only solid thing I can think of is to make a semi-serious “Road To” episode but make it feature length and involve the entire family.

A problem is that compared to the Simpsons, Family Guy leans less into the sentimentality especially nowadays, which makes it harder to create something satisfying.

This. A feature-length spoof sounds about right for Family Guy. Model it after one of the more obscure Golden Age musical films. I'm sure Seth would already have some suggestions at the ready
