What are some comics with good cheesecake AND good writing?
The lack of examples shows that nobody actually cares about cheesecake. Which means all that crying and pissing about censorship was for nothing .
>>153442694imagine im slowly clapping, youve finally figured out that fat lefties didnt actually read comics.
>>153442703Fat lefties are crying about censorship? I thought both sides did it?
Most Zenescope comics are pretty meh, but I personally like Robyn Hood. It's usually pretty good.
>thread immediately derailed
Anything Frank Cho does is usually good.
>>153441488Tough to come up with any that have both aside from Heat Seeker and Gun Honey.
John Carter of Mars and the Dejah Thoris stuff is good if you like pulpy stuff.
>>153441488>1488*snickers*so im going to take this red head and make ai art of her and turn her into a red head babe with a gun and cool spy stories.>>153442694>gay instantly runs in screaming PEOPLE DONT WANT STRAIGHT THINGS!>those who force took over hate beauty and want degen and abnormal and compatibility chats in comics>dont want straightness in things>doesnt read comicsnoted>>153442947>>153443142i'll check into these. more ai art babes to make chatbots for the world I made. neato
The original run Hack/ Slash from 2004 to 2015 was really good. Like Buff with a goth girl fighting Slasher type monsters and maniacs.
>>153442694>The lack of examples shows that nobody actually cares about cheesecakeor good writing.
>>153444182I think the people who care about good writing aren't reading superhero or shonenslop
pity bumpan because I'm interested.
The original Witchblade was decent to good.Once Ron Marz took over the book became fully fantastic with great Sejic digital art and in-depth world building. Cheesecake was toned down moderately but still present. The Dani Baptiste storyline in particular is well done and IMO the 2nd best gay/lesbian story in comics after Batwoman Elegy and there is like a 3-5 page lesbian sex scene in the solid Angelus mini series.
>>153445943
The Kenneth Rockafort Velocity mini series was good and had lots of ass shots.Storytime here - https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/93923520/
>>153441488The problem is that the cheesecake is usually limited to just the covers. Look at Zenescope, for example, which has fetish art: The stories themselves are the most bog-standard boring fantasy pastiches. It's really not worth reading at all.I don't think Heat Seeker is especially good or even especially sexy.
Angel Wings
Started the original Michael Turner Fathom series and it seems reasonably good.
>>153447165>jermaal put in vr>all he does is fuck a digital version of jonniBased
How come all cheesecake focused series have female leads? Why is it never about a man getting into steamy situations with sexy females.
>>153449130Same reason why a bunch of sexy games have a female lead. Following around a woman and watching her get in sexy situations is more appealing. I do personally like guy leads getting lucky but those usually make him a loser surrounded by hot women. For example this comic makes it seem like it's just about a guy that is IRRESISTIBLE to all women but it's that plus him simping over his ex-girlfriend who has a boyfriend and it ends with him hating his life and killing. Not the kind of thing I was hoping to see.
>>153444625Unfortunately, comics like Watchmen and manga like Ashita no Joe have led people to believe that there are good works to be found there.
Shut up, it counts. It's also really good.
The cavewoman series by Budd Root is pretty legendary.
>>153449391Alan's Moore has worked on some decent capeshit like swamp thing and there are some other pretty good shonen sports manga in the same genre as AnJ.
>>153441488Wally Wood's Cannon. Serviceable spy fiction for a weekly strip.
>>153451812Cannon is pretty fun. Nearly every woman is a femme fatale and they all get naked and fucked. Nearly every page has tits out with nipples and everything.
>>153441488Don't exist, Hitler. The cheesecake is to make up for and distract from the middling at best writing.
I like Priest's Vampirella stuff
>>153449734Yeah, but not much else.
>>153441488Byrne’s sensational she-hulk
>>153443142This is a pretty shit comic though. Dynamite has never publishes a well-written series sadly.
>>153449130Because cheesecake is feminine. Beefcake is masculine.
>>153453265>priest vampirellaThe art is hideous though, hardly cheesecake. And he hasn’t written a good comic since he changed his name
>>153449618It doesn’t count at all. They spend most of their time out of their costumes in street clothes.
>>153441488What is good writing, according to you?
>>153453377I hate that priest has decided his trademark will be black panels with that same stupid font. What an egotistical hack.
>>153453061The page where he tells his girlfriend to get an abortion is highly memorable to me, both because of his reaction and because how hot she looked.
>>153453061>>153454492This one
>>153443558I liked the issue where porn stars were getting targeted so she used herself as bait and did nude photos to lure the villain.
Some good moments in the current Harley Quinn x Elvira mini!
>>153456632Fuck off shill. Besides Peeg is way too muscular in that, it’s mannish and disgusting. Her having tits doesn’t change that.
Whole lotta titties in the titles mentioned but not one that show choochie?
>>153449684I like it but the writing is shitty. Remember, we're talking about GOOD writing
>>153443558>really good.meh more like it was ok at best.
jennifer blood maybe.
>>153442694>The lack of examples shows that nobody actually cares about cheesecake. Which means all that crying and pissing about censorship was for nothing fpbpgo goon, no boon
Does dynamite have any runs worth reading?
Top cow tomb raider
>>153460008That's the million dollar question.
>>153447165Is this the one where she has an orgy with like ten of her clones?
>>153457159NTA but you're wrong, Power Girl as drawn by Amanda Conner is perfect.
>>153461866>>153457159Damn she thicc
>>153444182People care about cheesecake, but the parameters were good cheesecake AND good writing, those can be hard to come by.
>>153461866Amanda Conner doesnt draw the comic you fucking retard She’s freakishly, masculinely, proportioned inside the comic. >>153462137
>>153457991Comics that show straight up vag tend to focus more on the porny aspects than actual good writing. OP is looking for both cheesecake as well as a good story.
>>153460008Genuinely not a single good comic ever. Space ghost is decent at best. The biggest problem with their female led books is that they try to make them safe horny (or even non-horny despite cover bait) in order to appeal to pick-me type women and men at the same time and please nobody.
Most cheesecake never delivers on the sex side of things. Not even asking for anything particularly explicit, would just like more than mostly asexual women who happen to be wearing corsets or bikinis
>>153463303Cheesecake isn't about actual sex, moron. It's about the tease.
>>153462642Naw, some of the Red Sonja comics are good. Vampirella has some good stuff, too. I thought one or two of the Dejah Thoris stories are ok. I don't remember which one, they tend to be kinda samey.
>>153460394You could make the case that all of Top Cows late-90s output is this: EVE:Promotecha, Magdalena, Aphrodite IX, etc. Just tits, ass and pretentious, try-hard storytelling all the way down.
>>153449130Because the latter would be called a harem, which is the exclusive domain of Asian stuff.
>>153464134>mark russell and Gail Simone comics are goodKys
>>153464083There is no tease when they're completely sexually innert. It's like getting horny over a mannikin. The tease is about what could happen so when you know nothing will happen and the comic barely even recognises in universe they're attractive women in sexy outfits it's pointless. It's like the Grimm series. Full of hot women in hot clothes but they may as well be androgenous androids for the impact on story and dialogue them being hot has.
