In fact I’d say more artists use this no-gutter approach than not these days which makes stuff like nine panel grid pages stick out more than they used to. The methodical, careful, intentional pacing one is able to achieve with clear panels and gutters is lost in messy shit like this. It’s fucking pitiful that nobody actually cares about craft and intent any more, neither readers or artists.
