The show just seems to be spinning its wheels with no end in sight and the S3 set photos showing Fisk is still alive and active has just taken all wind out of the seasons sails.
I can only watch Matt battle Fisk and then go "NOOOOO I BELIEVE IN GOD SO I WONT KILL YOU!!!!!" Only for Fisk to turn around next season and do the same shit over again.
Outside of Vanessa's death it really does not feel like anything has actually happened this season.

shame the writers didnt think about it, he could been a good replacement for fisk.

The show keeps promising and not delivering. The best of it was swordsman and the breakout, but things with the governor and white tigress just keep fucking dragging with no end in sight

I liked Season 1 a lot more than this.
>Having Punisher vanish because he's doing other things when there's absolutely zero reason for him to be absent as a bunch of criminal cops wearing his sign are overrunning the city and Matt's main moral conflict is "maybe I should push the fat man and stop him from killing hundreds of people- then again, I'm catholic"
>matt still waffling over how killing is badong feels increasingly grating when the entire season is "matt does something to stop fisk, is derailed by fisk doing something insanely evil, fisk further escalates and kills even more people" and at a certain point just makes Matt look vain and callous
>the governor who can literally effortlessly stop fisk casually giving up seemingly because she respects vanessa as a strong powerful woman is maybe the most I've ever been annoyed by an obscure secondary character in a show

as someone else in here said it feels like they're spinning wheels. They had a solid buildup in the last season but they're afraid to actually take it anywhere interesting.
