Powerpuff Girls had some really scary episodes, but everyone thinks the show was incredibly lighthearted. It was mostly, but it had some fucked up episodes once in a while that feel like they should be in Courage the Cowardly Dog, rather than Powerpuff Girls. They felt out of place in a show like this. PPG was supposed to be like Sailor Moon and Tokyo Mew Mew, not Courage or Invader Zim.
