I've been struggling to finish a set of comics for weeks. It's 20 issues and I've found 1-18 & 20. I can't find #19 on ebay, mercai, facebook market place, mycomicshop, local antique stores, local comic book stores. I asked a couple owners how they would go about holding an issue for me and understandably they can't really help... I'm spent. It's not even that valuable. It's 8 years old and it's going for about $12 but I just don't know what to do.Is this common? I'm pretty new to collecting older comics, I've always just picked stuff up as they came out. But I'm getting more into the hobby and I'm finding a lot of stuff I missed. What do you guys do when you simply cannot find an issue you're hunting? Am I missing something?
>>153461988This seems more like you just need attention today as you didn’t even ruin what the book was called. Stop being such a whiny bitch.
>>153462020Thanks for the input buddy. I didn't name drop it because I didn't want people to think this thread was about said comic. It's about hunting comics in general. I want to know what other anons do when they get stuck like this.
>>153461988I usually hit up shops that have a dedicated section to older issues or thrift book stores. Really just depends on your luck and how old/popular the particular comic is. If I'm truly desperate to complete a set I'll order individual issues of eBay or random stores that happen to have what I need.
>>153461988Okay.
>>153461988Could try a trading board/fb if someone else is willing to part with one

IIt can't be that hard....>17 minuets laterWell, what do you know, that is unusual. Especially since this is considered a book only with $5. I did find ONE copy of the uncensored version. https://www.ebay.com/itm/166269110159
