The entirety of 4 was good, Red Forest planet was an interesting location, there was actual momentum in that episode with the heroes needing to hurry up to stop the bad guys. Duels were pretty fun. Ahsoka getting bodied by Baylan was cool, and Sabine's choice in the end was actually unexpected. Too bad nothing came out of it! Dave Filoni has become the master at fumbling interesting plots and snuffing out any intentional for conflict and character drama. Episode 6 was just well directed, I looked up who did it, and turns out it was some woman who directed a lot of Mad Men. It's like the first real director to work on Star Wars slop.1 and 2 were just boring. 7 and 8 were atrocious in every regard, not only directing, plot and action, but retroactively making the few interesting episodes irrelevant and not following up on what they set up.And 5 was the worst of them all. Those Clone Wars flashbacks were painful to watch. Looked like they were made on a shoe string budget, and the entire conflict and lesson was forced.All in all, Ahsoka should have been animated. Live-action Ahsoka makes me cringe and sad. Sure, we'd lose Baylan and Shin's good performances (RIP Ray Stevenson), but Ahsoka wouldn't have been butchered as she did by Dawson and that little goblina.
