>>153462415It's strangely both disheartening and comforting to know that even if your work is excellent it doesn't automatically guarantee success, a topic that came up in another thread about indie animation where I imagine good stuff getting found and recognized is even harder and comes down to pure luck most of the time. Though even back in the day with fewer channels curating good shows there no doubt were creators with great ideas whose contributions got rejected, but with limited time slots it is always only a small portion of all creative work that gets widespread attention. So it is targically ironic that with internet we could have access to these works that didn't make the cut back in the old days for one reason or another, but instead it's seemingly become even harder to find the good stuff we know is out there.
