Why anime fights can end with plot twist in form of strategic and suprising way of defeating villain? JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Naruto, Yu Yu Hakusho, Hunter x Hunter etc. Western comic books either have standard overpowering villain with brute strenght (equivalent of anime like DBZ) or deus ex machina specific spell/technology. Why there is no western equivalent of strategic non fight series like Kaiji, One Outs or even Death Note?
