I don't like Kung Fu Panda 2 based on my schizo theory that Oogway planned everything in advance to prevent the industrialization of China.

>Shen develops the Cannon
>Oogway sees this weapon as a threat to Kung-Fu and tradition
>Plants baby Tai Lung in the palace doorstep
>Shifu trains Tai Lung
>Tell Tai Lung he's not the Dragon Warrior
>Valid crashout
>Lock him up
>Warn Shifu Tai Lung will retern
>Shifu sends bird guy
>Bird guy is the reason he escapes
>Pick Po as the Dragon Warrior
>Shifu trains Po
>Po beats Tai Lung
>Po beats Shen's cannon
>Shen's cannon is discredited
>Traditional warfare continues over industrialized warfare
Po is only one with the weight and heft to beat Shen's cannon. (Which is why he specifically is the Dragon Warrior.) Tai Lung and Tigress could dodge it sure but they couldn't "beat" the cannon. They'd get blown back if they tried to catch it like Po did.
