Those two books are super interesring for many reasons. Created in color during the Mirage years, then turned B&W for Dark Horse and now back in color again. What a ride!After reading and comparing all 3 versions, this one is the best. I know, heresy. B&W is cool and all, and some panels do look better without colors, but the series was clearly created with color in mind and it often shows. Fortunately Emi Fuji got it right 95% of the time.

Do you notice any differences in personalities of the space characters and their feudal equivalents?Obviously Space Tomoe is bolder when it comes to love, but I think that Rhogen is pretty much Gen, just with a laser gun.I think Space Usagi is less disillusioned about bushido but that maybe just be because the space adventure is shorter.
