Why do people act like the season 2 designs are worse when they were much better and everything about the season (writing, music) was better than the first one too?
Fun fact: Dave Filoni designed the characters and the original dragon form design more closely resembles the second season's.

I don't remember this show since it was so long ago. All I remember is that Grandpa had the mustaches and head things of a Chinese dragon. Did dragons from other nationalities vary in design? Like did someone else have a feathered serpent or entirely aquatic look?
When I was a kid, I thought the season two dragon form was the coolest thing ever and I tried to learn to draw it.
