I feel bad for her
>>153468374With a neck like that, I would, too. It looks like it's about to snap off at the shoulders.
>>153468374I don't think about her at all.
>>153468402>With a neck like that, I would, too.Same thing with most of the girls in this show.
I don't.Helga did the right thing by showing how unprepared Olga was for the real world despite all her book smarts. Helga is still a cunt though.

>>153468772Olga should be drunk and barely aware she hit something
>>153469465Apparently in the Helga spin off show she would have tried to be a failed actress that did a few commercial. Even Bob was supposed to be getting sick of her shit.
>>153468772This is the same artist who ships herself with Lisa Simpson isn’t it?
>>153469564>tried to be a failed actressWow. You gotta be pretty hopeless, to attempt to not succeed.
>>153469616TbrainrotHer baraag got deleted. If anyone knows where she post, I'd appreciate it.
>>153469619That's my bad, originally I put actress. I thought failed would get my point across, but I guess I should have read how that affected the sentence.
>>153469616Underrated shitposting artist.
>>153469649I'm imagining her going to auditions and reading all her lines with a terrible British accent.
>>153468772That's not nice!
>>153468374Why do you feel bad for her, anon?
>>153468374I don't
>>153473083She's too stupid for this world
>>153473083she fell into a trap of pursuing an elite academic clique that only selects a lucky/brilliant/connected few to actually be given opportunity. happens to a lot of high achievers.
>>153469564>Apparently in the Helga spin off show she would have tried to be a failed actress that did a few commercialMore pathetic than that. Sounds like she didn't even do any commercials. Pic-related from the show pitch says she's "only gotten non-paying, bit parts in off, off, off, off, Broadway plays". Emphasis on "ONLY". Even a background extra on a shitty commercial is supposed to get paid something. And on top of that she gave up on being a "world famous child psychologist" and moved back in with her parents. And consider that for a moment. One of the most highly well received Hey Arnold! episodes was "Helga on the Couch", aka the one were Helga goes to see a child psychologist. So if Olga had become a world famous child psychologist it would have been very appropriate, and she could have done something like written some New York Times Bestseller about how mentally dysfunction everyone in her family is.
>>153468374I feel bad for what they did to he character after her first episode
>>153474546Olga doesn't deserve to suffer. She deserves to be happy.
>>153468374Same; Bob and Miriam really messed her up by making her see affection as based purely on achievement. Then when she tries to connect with Lila because of a need to be loved for herself, Helga sabotages that as well. >>153474546That whole pitch reads like fanfic written by Helga.
>>153469208>>153469239>>153469260>>153469277>>153469295Olga stealing Arnold is my new headcanon
>>153474546>>153474735>>153475759I think they'd start Olga at rock bottom and then have her redemption and self-improvement arc. Helga would probably help her with it.
>>153476250>>153474546>>153474735She's 100% on track to be a heavy drinker like Miriam. If the Pataki show had been greenlit I guarantee they'd have the same sly hints about her drinks being increasingly spiked with booze more and more as the show progressed.
>>153474376The Patakis were pretty well off during Hey Arnold's original run, weren't they? I'd call Olga lucky
>>153468374I was genuinely disturbed at her mental breakdown when she got a bad grade when I watched the episode as a kid.
>>153477381It wasn't even a bad grade. It was a B
>>153477154Bob ran a store for pagers at a time when cell phones were starting to become more prolific. The income would have been steadily going down, then all but evaporated the second the in-universe not-iPhone hit the market. I cant recall if that was actually gonna be a plot point in the Patakis show or not, tho
>>153477495I knew a guy who did that once. He had a proper mental breakdown in the 7th grade and shat himself. Didn't see him again after that
>>153479467>nipple
>>153474546Olga's a genuinely nice and well-meaning person so reading this makes me sad. It's fucked up that her parents gave her so much better attention but that's not her fault or anything, you can tell she genuinely did love Helga and didn't look down on her. I also don't like that she borderline looks like a porn model in this concept art.
>>153479552For what it's worth pagers are still used by hospital staff to this day. He could maybe turn the ship around and market them towards medical staff if he were smart. Who am I kidding it's fucking Bob, he'd dig his heels in until that ship capsized.
>>153479552>>153480167Iirc they were going to have Bob eventually switch to cellphones but that he was so slow to make the change that he was essentially last in line for the entire market so it was a moot point
>>153477381>cant hear Mozat's Requiem without picturing a distraught Olga with her mascara running like black blood from her eyes
>>153474546i wouldn't mind a Pataki's spin off but i think olga getting screwed over is a bit much
>>153474546I knew a girl like that. Got great grades and went to Columbia but afterwards completely fizzled out. Couldn't keep a steady job and drank way too much. Ended up marrying some older creep and getting knocked up. Then I lost track of her.
>>153477495>It wasn't even a bad grade. It was a BOlga grew up with a "Anything but the best is a complete failure" mindset though; I could see her bringing home a report card with one A and everything else an A+ and being told to do better next time.
>>153480444Bright people who have so many expectations laid upon them with their own personal expectations jacked so high don't always have happy endings, especially the sheltered types.>>153480613I think everybody knows, or at least knows of, one person that ends up like this. One of my friends saw two students completely break down right outside the testing center to take the MCAT before it even started. He also developed a drinking problem after he got a start with his career in epidemiology and is still struggling to get over. Some people can adapt to it with almost no issue, but that kind of stress is not for everybody.
>>153480112Was she based on some siser or someone that Bartlet/a writer didn't like? Becaue he show constantly goes out of its way to udermine any depth she may have to try and make you hate her and then this. Petty shit like that feels like someone genuinely hating the character and for very personal reasons.
