Sonic Prime was so frustrating because none of the ideas presented felt like they were followed through to a satisfying conclusion. It felt like they fed a bunch of script ideas to AI and let it do whatever.The Eggman council say they have no history, they have simply always existed, implying they were created when the Paradox Prism shattered and simply assume the role the new world provided for them.But then other characters like Rebel Rouge and Nine specifically have backstories alluding to alternate histories.
