Search for Squarepants was originally a Krabs-focused movie (hence the overall pirate theming) before some executive bumped the movie up to a theatrical project and had it reworked into a more general Spongebob affair. That's why it looks relatively cheaper than Sponge on the Run.

That's what I'm saying. At this rate, why even keep the channel? Loud House was the only other franchise they had for a long time and they kicked the creator off and let it turn into Sanjay and Craig 2, and then they might be ending that too. With how low ratings are now for the channel as a whole compared to when the show came out, I don't think they do intend to keep it. I mean why do so when they'll have Warner's IPs?
