In every run they disappear or get replaced.

>>153479397It's any side character of a cancelled book. We have not seen Nova or Darkhawk's villains or side casts in years because no one from a cancelled book matters. Kyle Rayner's entire side cast are gone, and most of his villains are dead.
Marvel barelly keep the caracters consists from one arch to another.
>>153479462Poor Kyle.
>>153479397May as well be any modern marvel character outside of spider-man and daredevil at this point even the ones that stick around become unrecognizable through superpowers/new personalities/new relationships that pull them away from the main hero
>>153480149I hate that you're right.
>>153479397Not /co/, but . . .
>>153479397Does Batgirl still have that tranny hanging around?
2000's Marvel doesn't feel like a true continuation.
>>153481510That's different.
>>153484999Microchip recently came back to life (again).

>>153485073Oh yeah.
>>153484999Good on ya. Taxes are a scam.
>>153479397>Zapper>Wheezy>Pug>Stu>Jazinda The only one that stayed was that vile cunt Mallory Book.
>>153485229It's so disappointing.
>>153479462>Darkhawk's villainsPoor Darkhawk had a retcon that nuked his backstory in a way where whole stories from his original solo book have a "did any of that even happen?" question to them.>>153485073How many times has Frank killed him now?
>>153491640I'm sure they thought they were doing Chris a favor with all that Raptor shit.
>>153492155I usually like most things Abnett & Lanning wrote, but I don't know what they were thinking with that, and it seems to have stuck.
>>153492192I expect they were thinking they'd do for Darkhawk what had been done for Rich with the Nova Prime stuff. A power boost and a transfer to the cosmic scale of things. The problem is that Darkhawk doesn't translate as well to space shenanigans as Rich does despite both having space powers. Darkhawk is weird and almost spooky. Like a robot Ghost Rider or a metal Guyver. Making Chris Lensman-derivative Hero No. 99 (only what if they were evil!) just kinda cuts his legs out from underneath him. And it's not like there hadn't been other armors/amulets seen before either, but that Raptor thing took it way too far.
