Sadly, a lot of info relating to Jucika comes from old Facebook users posting personal accounts and memories, since nobody in the past 50 years has tried to make a comprehensive overview of the strips and their history with reliable sources. Jucika faded from Hungarian pop culture after 1970 and no one predicted that anyone would ever become interested in them afterward. So random comments such as there are among the few sources of insight we have. And some of them might be bullshit or just people misremembering things.Even the anecdote of Pusztai's widow burning all of the original Jucika strips in a fit of rage came from Facebook posts made by 60 and 70+ year old Hungarians who knew Pusztai back in the 60s.
