Like this one was at least solid. At least one had the fucking grace to let the animation just speak for itself in a good chunk of the scenes and wasnt filled to the brim with quirky shit. The most quirky it got was Tracey Morgan's shtick and you know what Im glad how it ended up towards the end

I liked this one a lot. Probably my favorite animated movie of the year so far. Really cool weird world, good characters, awesome twist. It was more enjoyable than Mario and Hoppers, at least to me. If the Skydance movies keep getting better or at least stay around the quality of this one I'll watch them. I know the first two are hated but I've never seen them.

>>153497898I think this one having the Tangled co-director saved it a little... the others barely featured a villan and in Luck's case it went trought awhole creative overhaul once the original director left as the original idea was about the forces of Good Luck and Bad Luck.

Gets points for being a film about the Sandman and managing to force in both famous songs about him. Plus hot mommy nightmare goddess.
