The male characters get lots to do and get pretty powerful/poignant arcs.Though I would say that Sabine is a bit of a Mary-Sue, and her Mary-Sue tendencies seem to have gone utterly critical since the show ended to the point of retroactively spoiling what was likable at the time.

It's fucking shit. It looks like shit, the animation is shit, it sounds like shit, the new characters are all shit, Ezra and Sabine are some of the worst characters in the history of Star Wars, the acting is shit, the story is shit, it's sanitized TV-Y7 kiddie to the max garbage with no violence whatsoever, it has fucking TIME TRAVEL and giant time and space traversing WOLVES and people flying on lightsabers like helicopters. Most of the show is formulaic, repetitive kiddie shit slog. The show completely and utterly ruined the Empire, making them a complete non-threat, worse than B1 droids, who were MEANT to be incompetent. The only interesting moments are the ones with CLONE WARS characters that have nothing to do with the story or characters of this show and was just tying up lose ends after the infinitely superior series was unjustly cancelled for this piece of trash. And even then they fucked it up with TIME TRAVEL shit. It also led us to the dogshit live-action slop like Ahsoka. It's absolute garbage and a plague on the franchise. I hate this show with a burning passion. The Clone Wars, 1313, Maul game, Force Unleashed 3 were all cancelled and replaced with this fucking dogshit. Anyone who says it's "good" should fucking kill themselves.
