I been thinking about making a list of things that are /co/ core and I think that it's already pretty goodCartoon>SpongeBob>Looney Tunes>Ren and Stimpy >The Simpsons>The 90s Spielberg shows>BTAS>Doug>Fairy Odd Parents>AoSTH>Sonic SatAM> The 80s Ducktales>Darkwing DuckComics>Archie Sonic>The Disney Duck ComicsFan works>Tails Get Trolled>Between Friends>Tamers12345's Sonic Underground>Camp SherwoodI would like more suggestions especially for comics as I don't really care for them.(Pic kinda related as Looney Tunes is /co/core)
Do people actually like that Sonic Underground thing
>>153488551Yes they do
>>153488500>especially for comics as I don't really care for them.you should read more, you're missing out. Nancy is definitely a must in terms of understanding the mechanics of comics as a medium, and what a great one looks like
>>153488624The only comic series I like is Fleetway's Sonic The Comic as capeshit turned me off comics.
>>153488624Lol WOMEN amirite?
>>153488500
>>153489345Very funny.
>>153489345Stocking Anarchy.
>>153489345Chowder?

I know this is a bait thread but "X core" isn't just "shit I like" it has to have specific guidelines.
>>153492701adding a few more:>CartoonsGargoylesThe remainder of the DCAU: Superman, JL/JLU, Static and Zeta ProjectAeon FluxInspector GadgetHanna Babera superheroes: Space Ghost, Herculoids, Birdman, Dyno Mutt, Jonny Quest, etcCybersix>ComicsNancy and SluggoAge of BronzeAge of ReptilesCalvin & HobbesPeanutsmodern Heathcliff by GallagherSpawnScud the Disposable AssassinMadmanGroothe collected works of John OstranderKirbyDitkoSterankoWally WoodFrazettaDylan Dog
>>153492742I don't like some of these things (BTAS, Camp Sherwood) but this thread is for things that made a big impact on /co/.
>>153489345>this is your mindset
>>153488500>Fan works>>Between Friends>>Camp Sherwoodthis is /co/ not /cp/
>>153494269They are both a part of this board culture so they are /co/core.
Ok guys so far I added Cartoons>Avatar>King Of The HillComics>All Star Superman>The works of Steve Ditko>Nancy>Peanuts>Calvin & Hobbes
>>153488500Most of that list isn't /co/core. Just because they're popular and many posters like it here doesn't makes it core of the board, it must have an authentic identity. Deus Ex and American Psycho are mainstream, but they're /v/core and /tv/core because have an organic identity that is characteristic of their respective boards. Either that or they're not very popular or kind of forgotten but people still talk about it here, like SS13 and Primer. Considering that, I would say that this is /co/coreCartoons>Avatar>MLaaTR>Smiling Friends>the horse show >ATHF>actually many western adult 2000s cartoons, especially from AS Comics >Foolkiller>Watchmen>Steve Ditko's Spider-Man, because it's always fucking recommended >Hitman >Nancy>It Hurts>Slylock Fox>CerebusFan Works>Prequel
>>153494986>Avatar>King Of The Hill>NancyGood choices
>>153488500Here's an ancient chart.
>>153494987Hmm I do get where you are coming from but things like SpongeBob,King Of The Hill, And Ren And Stimpy are big parts of this board identity and the 90s Spielberg shows were one of the first things talked about here. Also Camp Sherwood and Tamers both become popular here first .Also as much as I love Smiling Friends that show is more /v/ than /co/ to me.
>>153494987>horse showhorses, that sounds like I was talking about Bojack
>>153495350>SpongeBob,King Of The Hill, And Ren And StimpyWell that's what I was talking about when I mentioned popular but loved things.>Also as much as I love Smiling Friends that show is more /v/ than /co/ to me.I really disagree but I'm happy that you accept that it has an identity here on 4chan. And your Fan Works part makes sense
>>153495709Of course Smiling Friends have origins on 4chan Zach and Micheal are both clearly oldfags.

>>153495777>Zach and Micheal are both clearly oldfags.Any proof?
>>153498483Just their sense of humor plus I'm pretty sure Zach made references on OneyPlays.
Really disheartening seeing a lack of thimble therater being mentioned here.
