The MCU version lacks all of that. Same ugly pleather outfits, same static apartments, same everything as any other Netflix show. It's a disgrace how far we've fallen.

Charlie Cox DD is way more developed than Ben Affleck but Jennifer Garner Elektra is far superior to the british? flat chested chick calling herself elektra.The movie is great for just trying to do a fucking comic book movie.There's an interview with the director where he mentions wanting to do everything from early 60s Nelson and Murdock to Elektra Saga to Born Again to Elektra Lives Again which is part of why the movie is all over the place

It was a better time.Daredevil made enough money for a sequel to be greenlit, but Elektra was popular enough that they fast-tracked a solo movie for her that was meant to lead into Daredevil 2, but they rushed it out ASAP without a good story or anything and it flopped badly enough that Daredevil 2 got cancelled.
