I won't repeat most of what I said there here but this IS something of a truly spectacular achievement so I woud like to say again how much I've sincerely enjoyed every year of being in this fandom and into this show. For my money, I truly think it's the best (both). Dig the OP art too, looks great. Lots of love from one Loud House fan to all his fellow Loud House fans and to TLH, in my opinion the hero cartoon of the age.

Meanwhile I've sliced off all that fucking gangrenous shit off my body that was pulling me down years ago and accepted good cartoons as gone and have become a superhardcore Loud House maximalist. I live The Loud House and don't move an inch away from it. If I had to watch most other stuff I'd be depressed too, but I think it's best to just be happy there's anything still cool out there so I drink it like a fountain that's pouring like an avalanche that's falling down the mountain.

I hate to sound like such a fanboy but I can only be honest, some of the coolest and most memorable stuff I've read has been in TLH stories, no lie, and I'm the type that owns and reads a lot of real books, and I don't mean genre stuff either. I don't know what it is about the show but it attracts people with pretty seriously Byronic sensibilities and they create some fascinating stuff based on it as a result. The art is like that too. I'm a major romantic myself so I love it and seriously cannot get enough.As for when you got into it, damn, I'm sorry, anon. We don't really spam the show or try to get anyone interested that's not already interested, not really out to recruit. I personally feel that way it means that the people that get in are *really* in because it grabbed them and they aren't gonna dilute the fandom's essence with bullshit but it also means we don't get the word out properly to anons like you that could enjoy it. Oh, actually, it's less onerous than a top ten, just favorite episodes, I misunderstood!Well, I've always said that if I had to show one episode to someone to check if they'd like the show, it's Project Loud House from s1. That's the one where Lincoln has to hustle his sisters out of bed, make them breakfast, get Lori and her boyfriend back together after they break up so she's not too emotional to ditch driving them to school, all while making sure his school project doesn't get wrecked in all the chaos (it does, but his sisters come together to help him make a living diorama of what his life is like for his class and it's really cute and sweet). Now I'm not saying that's the greatest episode ever, no way, but I do think it encapsulates most succintly and elegantly everything the show's about and all the dynamics at play and, really, the essence of it, I think. I think it's one of those perfect little episodes where everything gets represented and you can really grasp the philosophy of the series at large and the characters, where it's like, if you like that episode, you'll probably like the show. I think one day I'll make a thread asking about episodes like that from different shows anons know because I think they're pretty neat. So yeah, S1, Project Loud House.Though as I looked for a picture for this post I found this Carol Pingrey pic and remembered the episode where he forces his sisters into posing for the mother's day picture and not being all crazy for once. That one was also really, really good, he has to defeat them all to do it and he does but his better nature wins out. A classic, classic episode. S1 is the best imo.
