>>153493645His main problem is that certain writers and editors have their favorite characters that they aggressively push while those they don't like are shelved or pushed to the wayside and unfortunately for Conner despite being a far more popular character than Jon or Superboy-Prime that doesn't matter because no one at DC likes him or wants to use him. "Fixing" him is simple: have Clark recognize and raise Conner as his son and de-age Jon so Conner and Jon can have a big brother/little brother relationship and have both fill in for Clark when he isn't around. Also give back his telekinetic/psionic/matter manipulation powers so he has a unique powerset and give him a new named like Supernova or Scion because he should have moved on from using "boy" in his name awhile ago.

He was only good when Kesel and PAD wrote him as a bigger than life personality with a slight touch of teen angst, thrown into Kirbyesque scenarios. His title started going downhill once Kelly got hold of it, and Johns completely ruined him when he finally got his fanfic validated by editorial, making the character's entire existence orbit around his lineage.
Funny how kid Jon is currently more relevant than Kon.
