>>153498636The closest show I could compare this to in terms of plot structure would be Space Goofs, and even that has more of a definitive hook and formula (Aliens live in the attic of a rental house and have to deal with whoever’s in it that episode) Both shows have shit just kind of happen to the main cast and you never really know what kind of situations or characters they’ll encounter.

It's obviously a character-driven comedy, and when pulling up practically any random episode, the main cast's roles become apparent: you've got the loudmouth troublemaker, the voice-of-reason, and the impressionable third one caught in the middle of their conflicts. It's got loads of surreal humour, sure, but at its core, you'll find pretty familiar comedic dynamics.
