>>153500394The only joke I remember about this show is somehow Andy's dad and the squirrel being on a raft and without water, until the squirrel takes out a bottle of water and drinks it, complaining about the taste and throwing it away, and the dad about to beat the shit out of the squirrel immediately after, even with a raised fist and screaming.
Something tells me Squirrel Boy is one of those forgotten shows that wasn't necessarily awful, but gets treated as if it were one of humanity's greatest sins. I'll actually sit down and watch it for myself one of these days, but I'm expecting it to be decent enough.

I think a real turning point for me was when Jamie Lynn Spears, younger sister of Britney Spears, ended up in the cast of All That which was one of the few live action shows I liked. It felt slimy for reasons I couldn't understand at the time, and then learning she got pregnant at 15 just reinforced what I'd already suspected.Child actors should not be a thing.

I call them "same type" because all the newer(at the time) just seem like the same styled sitcoms being played over and over. At least when Nick did it in the 80's and 90's you had stuff like Are You Afraid of the Dark, various kid game shows, live action dramas in various genres, even a fucking space series like Space Cases.
