Ironically it ended up mogging CN and Nickelodeon in the 2020s.

just because it's been doing slightly better for the past 6 years doesn't mean it automatically erases the past 37 years of being the most fucking boring channel out of the big 3

Maxwell Atoms mentioned that CN excs including fucking Lazzo where always jealous on their sucess.
>>
>>153500790
and what gave em said success? usually awful sitcoms about random fucking teen stars NOBODY gives a remote fuck about nowadays?

Disney Afternoon was great and basically had zero competition, but yeah after that they fell off pretty hard. The only Disney Channel shows afterwards that I really cared for were Kim Possible, Phineas and Ferb, and American Dragon to a lesser extent.
>>
honestly Disney Channel felt like the sanitized neighbors house you only went to once a month because your parents forced you to that at least had one cool thing, said thing being Phineas and Ferb

At the begging it was great. I was already too old when they switched to mostly live action shows to get into that, so it just wasn't my jam.At least it didn't turn into another Mtv/other cable channels that just do constant rerun of the same shit.
>>
It was strange that this channel had commercial breaks.
>>
I used to watch it so I could jerk off to Miley Cyrus.

I regret nothing.

XD was better :P

Yeah that always bothered me about Disney Channel. Maybe that's part of what made it feel synthetic compared to its competitors. The ad breaks felt EXTRA unnecessary since they were all just Disney-related anyway.
