The Post-Crisis Superman did not become true kino until Reign of the Supermen

Ever single one of these designs were great
>>
Pretty goated stuff, I've gone through a portion of these runs and I do crave a reread. What are some of your favorite storylines? Obviously Hank Henshaw/Reign of Supermen is a favorite

>>153503091
It was all good from 87' until he went blue
>>
noo giant naked muscle lady pleeeeese don't step on me and beat me up ahaha great scott lol

Same as every other era: Boring
>>
>>153501766
I’m more of a fan of his 90s stuff, Man of Steel was a good origin story, and this was a must have for a rebooted modern Superman, but I’ve never been particularly a fan. The art is very nice to look at it at least
>>
>>153501766
weren't 4 series? with Man of Steel
>>
>>153503713
The Terminator 2 influence on the 90s pop culture was evident here.
>>
>>153504554
No, Wayne Boring mostly drew him in the 50s and 60s
>>
Remember when Superman wanted to fug a mermaid back in them days
>>
Why some people hate John Byrne's take on Superman?
>>
>>153501766
The reinvention of Lex Luthor as an evil billionaire was a good idea that stood the test of time. Everything else was simply alright at best.

one thing that becomes immediately obvious is that Byrne or someone had a major foot fetish
>>
>>153510067
I think the point is that that the guy is a sleaze.
>>
>>153507607
That happened years later during the triangle era when it was Jurgens/Ordway/Stern on the books.
>>

There was only a "Man of Steel" miniseries at the time
